Pool Opening

To Do List Prior to Pool Opening

  • Pump any water on top of the cover off to avoid extra pumping charges. Remove excess debris from the cover as well.
  • Fill up the pool to normal operating level under the cover if possible so we can start the pool. This may not be possible on aboveground pools.
  •  Leave all deck equipment, plugs, baskets, return eyeballs, etc. out by the pool.
  • Ensure that all major equipment, pump, filter, filter cartridges, DE elements, etc. are by the pool or easily accessible.
  • Confirm that power is running to pool equipment, especially any indoor breakers what will be inaccessible.
  • Please make sure that we have full access to your pool area by unlocking any fence or gates.

Because it is not always possible to start up the pool or heater at opening for various reasons, there may be issues that we are unable to detect.  If any problems arise, you can contact our service department at (518) 456-7727 to have them addressed.  Repair services are not included in the opening price. Repairs would be rescheduled and would be an additional fee.
